Fourty-four people attended the March 7, 2015 work day at Tannehill. Three NICA teams made up of students and parents (Vestavia Hills, Oak Mountain & Pelham), several folks from WAMBA and our usual work crew which is growing all contributed. The IMBA trail was completed! Other trails, including the race loop for this weekend’s NICA race, were cleaned up. Afterwards many went for a ride.
This month’s workday work day will be taking place at Tannehill Historical Park on Saturday, March 7th, 0800 (we will meet at Roberts Pavilion). The primary goal will be to finish the IMBA section that was started a few months back and any incidental care needed. With at least two NICA teams on board and all others that turn out, along with decent weather, it should be no problem to get this section completed. Please bring work gloves and water, lunch will be provided.
