“Dirt Pass”… A VOLUNTARY Program to support State Park Trails

We would like to provide a statement on behalf of BUMP board in regards to the “Dirt Pass”. We’ll share more info after some upcoming meetings. This is a VOLUNTARY program. Greg Lein and Rob Grant have been major contributors in helping us to get many of the trails we ride and huge supporters of our mission. This is a fundraising program that will be in addition to other fundraising programs to raise money to better the State Park system and 100% will be dedicated to park’s Trail Program. The money is intended to financially support trails in our state parks. Greg did research speaking with SORBA & IMBA which led to this being a VOLUNTARY program.

This is a move by the state park system to raise the priority of recreational trails in the parks. We have two guys within the State Park system because of their success related to recreational trails and they are true trail advocates. It is a VOLUNTARY program so you can choose if you would like to support it. The park system needs our support. The roll out date is June 4th. If you have questions for Greg to answer, please email them to bump@bump.org.
