Begin forwarded message: Hello Loyal Park Partners, As you know, Alabama’s Legislature has a bill before them that would constitutionally protect Alabama’s State Parks funding. This bill, SB 260, has passed the full Senate and has moved to the House of Representatives. If the House votes in favor of this bill, the citizens of Alabama will have the opportunity to vote in November on this important constitutional amendment permanently protecting Alabama’s State Parks funding. The vote for this bill could come up as early as today, when the House convenes at 4 PM. PLEASE take time to call your representative ASAP and let them know how important this constitutional amendment is for the future of state parks. We want our incredible park system to be available and thriving for future generations to come. All it takes is five minutes to make an impact on the future.
